1. Who We Are
TX Septic Tank Pumping is an independent directory of Texas septic tank pumping companies run by the operator of this website. For any privacy question or request, use our contact page.
2. Information We Collect About Visitors
- Forms. If you contact us or enquire about a listing plan, we receive what you type: usually your name, email, phone number and message. We use it only to reply and to manage your request.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.
- ZIP code search. When you search by ZIP code, your browser sends that ZIP code to zippopotam.us, a free ZIP code lookup service, to find nearby septic companies. We do not store it.
3. Cookies and Maps
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Some pages show an embedded Google Map. When you scroll to a map, Google Maps loads and may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
4. Information About Listed Businesses
Listings contain business information that septic companies have made public, such as trading name, business address, phone number, website, opening hours and review counts from Google. Where a sole trader's business details identify them, we rely on our legitimate interest in helping homeowners find local services. Any business can ask us to correct or remove its listing at any time through the contact page, and we will act promptly.
5. Paid Plans
If you buy a listing plan, payment is handled by our payment provider; we never see or store full card details. We keep billing records as required by tax law.
6. How Long We Keep Data
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Billing records are kept for six years. Listing data is kept while the business is trading and public.
7. Your Rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
